How to Save Time with Reusable Blocks in WordPress

They are easy to create and every time you need to add this content to a post, your reusable block will be ready. This means that you save time by not having to type out the same content over and over again.

How to use reusable blocks

If you want to use reusable blocks on your WordPress site, there are a few things that you need to do. First, you need to create a reusable block in the WordPress editor. To do this, click on the + icon in the editor to create a new block.

Edit it how you want it to look – changing colors, text, styling or any changes you want to make. Once you have it how you want it, save it as a reusable block!

To save your reusable block, click on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of the block. This will open up a menu, and from there, you can select “Add to Reusable Blocks.”

Now that your reusable block is saved, you can add it to any post or page on your WordPress site! To do this, simply click on the + icon in the editor and select your reusable block from the list.

It will automatically insert the reusable block into your post! You can move it around and edit it just like any other block.

Our table of contents and affiliate disclosure are both reusable blocks. The affiliate disclosure can be done easily on any theme, but the table of contents is something that was created in our Kadence theme. It started as a standard table of contents that I customized to our blog’s colors and how I want it to display.

Or in our case on this blog with the table of contents. It was customized so it would be a pain to have to customize it for every post!
