What are reusable blocks
Reusable blocks are blocks of content that can be added to any post or page on your WordPress site. They are a great way to add reusable content, such as affiliate disclosures, to your blog posts.
Reusable blocks can be created in the WordPress editor, and they can be saved for future use. You create these blocks and format them the way you want them to look. Once you save it, you can use it any time you need to add this formatted content!
They are easy to create and every time you need to add this content to a post, your reusable block will be ready. This means that you save time by not having to type out the same content over and over again.
How to use reusable blocks
If you want to use reusable blocks on your WordPress site, there are a few things that you need to do. First, you need to create a reusable block in the WordPress editor. To do this, click on the + icon in the editor to create a new block.
Edit it how you want it to look – changing colors, text, styling or any changes you want to make. Once you have it how you want it, save it as a reusable block!
To save your reusable block, click on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of the block. This will open up a menu, and from there, you can select “Add to Reusable Blocks.”
Now that your reusable block is saved, you can add it to any post or page on your WordPress site! To do this, simply click on the + icon in the editor and select your reusable block from the list.
It will automatically insert the reusable block into your post! You can move it around and edit it just like any other block.
Our table of contents and affiliate disclosure are both reusable blocks. The affiliate disclosure can be done easily on any theme, but the table of contents is something that was created in our Kadence theme. It started as a standard table of contents that I customized to our blog’s colors and how I want it to display.
While there are no affiliate links in this post, this is our affiliate disclosure that is a reusable block that I can add anywhere in the post:
This post may contain affiliate links which means that we may earn a commission if you make a purchase through one of our links. This is at no extra cost to you, thank you for your support! Please see our disclaimer for more details.
