I am one that is not as organized as I would like to be.  One thing I am trying to work on is writing everything down into one place.  I mean writing it all down in one notebook or to keep files for everything so I can remember what I need to.  It seems that the busy life of raising kids has me forgetting various things that I want to do or need to do.

Forgetting to write things down is something that happens a lot here.  When I do write things down, I end up grabbing any piece of paper or any notebook.  Then it gets lost and I cannot remember what I was going to do lol! I mean I do remember some things, but when I am trying to remember something that I really wanted to remember I often forget.

This goes for some recipes too.  I have made some really good dishes of this and that but can’t remember it next time I make it because I don’t write it down! Maybe because my memory used to be perfect, I would remember things without even trying.  Now I try and can’t remember everything, must be motherhood 🙂

How about you, how do you stay organized? Or at least how do you remember the important things you need to do? I could use any advice on this!

I realized that a lot of my disorganization came from reading emails on my phone. I would read it while waiting for a child to finish practice, then forget to put it on the calendar or do something with it when I got home. Missed a few things that way. I now sit with my calendar at the desk computer when I read through emails.
When I make lists, I always leave them on the kitchen counter until I leave the house, then bring it along. It works. I just need to make lists more often.
Good luck! Let me know what ends up working.

Yeah I have had problems with reading my emails on my phone too! I always say to myself that I will go over it again when I get home, but then when I get home I get busy and forget.

Leaving notes on the kitchen counter sounds like a good idea because my counter being cluttered bothers me. If it is cluttered with my to do notes, I have a great chance of doing it right away 🙂
